Parliamentary Systems and Approaches
This area explores parliamentary systems and approaches prevalent in the region. These entails functioning of county assemblies and the National Legislature which consists of the National Assembly and the Senate. It also covers regional parliaments within the Eastern Africa region.
Participants will learn about roles and responsibilities of parliamentarians, committee systems, legislative procedures, and the interaction between the executive and legislative branches for effective policy outcomes and superior service delivery to the citizens.
