Devolved Governance and Administration
This thematic area provides an in-depth understanding of devolved governance and administration systems with focus on Kenya. Participants will gain knowledge on the mandates, roles and responsibilities of devolved governments, and approaches to and effective administration at the local/regional level.
The area also covers intergovernmental relations and experienced challenges with possible policy solutions. It also offers units on fiscal decentralization to enrich the perspective of the participants on this emerging area.
