Vihiga County Assembly Legislative body is a creation of the Kenyan Constitution Chapter 11 Article 176 which stipulates that there shall be a County Government for each County, consisting of a County Assembly and a County Executive. Vihiga County Assembly occupies the grounds of the former County Council of Vihiga. It is located along Majengo – Ebusakami Road and Opposite Vihiga Police Station.

Hon. Christopher Omulele CBS. is an advocate of the high Court and immediate former M.P Luanda Constituency . He served in the 11th and 12th Parliament. He has vast knowledge in parliamentary matters having served on Speakers Panel at the National Assembly.
